Burke Wine Garden Friday Evening

The Burke Centre Conservancy rescheduled the wine garden after it was rained out earlier this month.

The Burke Centre Conservancy hosts its rescheduled Burke Centre Festival Wine Garden Friday, Sept, 28, on the Conservancy grounds from 6 - 10 p.m.

Three Fox Vineyards of Delaplane, Va. will sell wines by the bottle or glass, and guests may enjoy free hors d'oeuvres and entertainment.

Two bands will play during the evening.  Suburban Hearts is the local songwriting team of James Cubeta and Hope Linzer, known for their acoustic sound.  Rough Draught is a three-piece acoustic band comprised of Kman, Tim and Terry.  The group says they play a little bit of everything, including bluegrass and classic rock.

Admission is free. Enter the Conservancy using the driveway on Burke Centre Parkway, and staff will direct you to parking on the grounds.

Patch is the official sponsor of the 2012 Burke Centre Festival Wine Garden.
