College can be tough, particularly when you're paying attention. The following group of Fairfax Station residents were recently honored by their respective colleges because of their excellent scholastic standings.

Dean's List (Must be a full-time student and receive between a 3.4 and 3.9, depending on the school)

• Corinne McNulty, a junior Middle Level Math/English major at Grove City College
• Victoria Craven, Wake Forest University
• Phoebe McPherson, University of New Hampshire
• Mariah Kahn, a forensic psychology major at Florida Institute of Technology  
• Sara Leach, a sophomore majoring in civil engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute
• Alexander Woodyard, a sophomore majoring in robotics engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Out of the 727 students named to the Dean's List at the University of Mary Washington, a few were from Fairfax Station:
