UPDATE Tuesday: Power Outages, Road Information for Fairfax Station and Clifton Residents
Hundreds were still without power Tuesday afternoon.
UPDATE: 1 p.m. Tuesday
Hundreds in Fairfax Station and Clifton are still without power on Tuesday.
According to Dominion Virginia Powers’ interactive outages map, Fairfax Station homes near Hampton Road and Henderson Road seem to be the most severely effected by the outages. As of Tuesday, about 400 customers are without power in that area. That is down from over 600 on Monday.
Another 10 or so homes are without power in the Clifton area, according to NOVEC’s outages information.
“It could’ve been a whole lot worse,” said Clifton’s Mayor Bill Holloway. “I think with the weekend everyone could get out of the house for a little bit and come back at night. And neighbors help neighbors.”
