Pet Adoption Event to Reduce Fees
The Fairfax County Animal Shelter will reduce adoption fees later this month.
As part of a March Mega Match-A-Thon, fees for dog and cat adoptions will be reduced at the .
The adoption initiative takes place on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1. Adopters will get $10 off the adoption fee for all adopted shelter cats and dogs. In addition, pets will receive a free spay or neuter procedure before they are adopted.
The regional event is sponsored by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and will take place in participating shelters in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland.
