A Christmas tree on horseback? That's what you saw Saturday if you were in Clifton at the town's annual holiday parade.

That and many other riders were dressed in some form of holiday garb as they rode or walked their horses, ponies and dogs through the streets Saturday afternoon.

Horses wore red bows, ponies pulled sleighs and pooches trotted along, decked out in holiday sweaters. It all made for a merry scene.

A decorated tractor stood nearby awaiting evening festivities that included decorating a large tree in the center of town.
