Photos: Saturday at the Burke Centre Festival
Lots of fun before the late afternoon storm.
The 35th annual Burke Centre Festival was cut short Saturday, due to the storm that passed through the area about 3:40 p.m., bringing heavy rains and strong winds.
The festival continues Sunday, from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the grounds of the Burke Centre Conservancy. Parking is available in business, church and school lots along Burke Centre Parkway. There are shuttle buses from 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The National Weather Service predicts a mostly sunny day in the mid 70s.
