On the above map, the addresses are block numbers, not specific home or business addresses.
The following items are from recent police updates through Oct. 18 from the Franconia, West Springfield and Sully police districts of the Fairfax County Police Department.
Burglary (marked in red on above map), 6100 block of Calico Pool Lane, 10/16/12, 3:40 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include an iPad. Forced entry was made through a side door.

- 6300 block of Springfield Plaza - merchandise from business
- 6300 block of Springfield Plaza - wallet from business

- 6000 block of Burke Commons Road - laptop computer from business
- Hillside Road/Forrest Hollow Lane - backpack from vehicle
- 6300 block of Millwood Circle - tools from vehicle
- 9500 block of Old Keene Mill Road - groceries from business
- 8400 block of Old Keene Mill Road - wallet from business
*No vehicle thefts were reported at the time.
