Police: Three Burglaries Reported in Burke Area

The following items are from recent police updates through Dec. 12 from the Franconia, West Springfield and Sully police districts of the Fairfax County Police Department.
Burglary (blue on map), 7:15 p.m., 12/6/12, 5500 Point Longstreet Way, Officers responded for an alarm and found a rear sliding door damaged. A resident confirmed that jewelry was stolen from the home.
Burglary (blue on map), 4:45 p.m., 12/7/12, 8900 block of Cromwell Drive, A resident reported someone entered the home stole electronic equipment. Entry was made through an unsecured door.
Burglary (blue on map), 8:10 p.m., 12/8/12, 9200 block of Bexleywood Court, A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Forced entry was made through the front door.

- 9500 block of Old Burke Road - cash from business
- 13700 block of Noble Rock Lane - Christmas ornaments from residence
Vehicle Thefts (green on map):
- 7300 block of Burke Meadow Drive - Ford F-150
