'Upscale Resale' Event to Benefit the Homeless

Proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army's Harbor Light Center.

The local Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary branch in Fairfax is hosting an “Upscale Resale” event this weekend to benefit a residential treatment program for people who are homeless.

“The much-needed funds raised through this event will help women and men struggling to regain control of their lives,” said Major Wendy Morris, coordinator of Women’s Ministries for The Salvation Army National Capital Area.

Proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army’s Harbor Light Center, a residential treatment program for homeless individuals seeking to overcome drug and alcohol addiction.
