The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce will host its 2012 Golf Outing at Laurel Hill Golf Club on Sept. 17. The club is the host of the 2013 USGA amateur public links championship.

Laurel Hill joins the notables in the world of golf with a prestigious ranking at number 15 on Golfweek's 2009 roster of the nation's 50 best municipal courses, announced annually in the magazine's May edition.

The Chamber’s annual outing includes lunch, complimentary access to the driving range, 18 holes of golf, on-course refreshments, contest holes, dinner and awards.

Net proceeds from the Golf Outing benefit the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. scholarship fund.
