Organizers expect a big turnout for Saturday's Clifton Caboose Twilight Run
Organizers expect a big turnout for the 14th annual Clifton Caboose Twilight Run. The event is happening this Saturday, June 4th at 6 p.m.
The 5K and one mile fun run/walk is a popular tradition in the Clifton area. Race Director Gary Anderson says they’ve already got more than 200 people signed up and expect more to join in through race day.
Anderson says it’s events like these that really bring people in Clifton together.

“Outside of the town most of the houses are spaced apart, but I know all my neighbors in Clifton,” Anderson said. “That’s one of the things that make Clifton such a great place to live.”
The event is a fundraiser for the Clifton Betterment Association, a group that pays for projects like the playground renovation and the Flood Plain Park Plan.

At least 20 people volunteer their time to make the Clifton Caboose Twilight Run go off smoothly each year. It’s a family friendly event, so organizers say feel free to bring your kids.
After Thursday, June 2nd, you can register the day of the race. For more information, click here.
