Annual Clifton Barn Dance This Saturday

Clifton Barn Dance is on Saturday

The annual Clifton Barn Dance is on Saturday.

“We learn how to do the square dancing, line dancing, and circle dancing. It’s tons of fun,” said Linda Difeati, who is helping to organize the event.

Although the event is not open to the general public, the annual hoedown for Clifton area residents draws about 100 people benefits the Clifton Betterment Association. This year, Matt McCall, of Fairfax, will be “calling” the dances.

“He is wonderful. We have had him call the dances for years,” Difeati said. “He and his wife teach the steps before hand and then they play to music.”

The private event is Saturday, October 15 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Clifton Barn located behind the La Bella Luce store at 7137 Main Street.
