Fairfax Station Resident Liz Williamson Honored by Alzheimer’s Association

She was named an "Inspiring Champion".

Fairfax Station resident Elizabeth Williamson has been honored by the Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area Chapter for exemplary commitment to volunteerism. 

Williamson was the recipient of one of 12 Inspiring Champions Awards, which recognizes above and beyond contributions. She answered phones, updated helpline referral lists and volunteered to work at three of the Chapter’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraising events in Fall 2012.

The Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area Chapter is one of 70 chapters across the country, and has served the community since 1981.
