2. Outerloop Presents: Freqontrol

Why Go: In 1969, the members of Jefferson Airplane formed an American blues-rock band known as Hot Tuna. Don’t miss your chance to see them perform acoustic and electric versions of original and traditional blues songs.

5. George Washington’s 279th Birthday Celebration
Where/When: Mount Vernon- 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway, Mount Vernon/Monday, Feb. 21 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Why Go: In honor of George Washington’s birthday, admission to Mount Vernon is free on Monday, Feb. 21 only. There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at 10 a.m. and a surprise party reminiscent of his party in 1778 at 1:30 p.m.
