  • Where: Thomas Jefferson High School, 6560 Braddock Road
  • When: Friday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: TJ will be playing their last games of the regular season this Friday night
  • Price: Admission varies. Please contact your local school for details.

Annandale United Methodist Church Christmas Craft Bazaar

  • Where: 6935 Columbia Pike, Annandale
  • When: Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
  • Why Go: More than 30 artists and crafters will present their wares at this annual event. There will also be food for sale, as well as free children’s entertainment. Historic Little White Church and Museum will also be open for tours.
  • Price: Admission is FREE.

U.S. Navy Band’s “Windjammers Woodwind Quintet” Concert

  • Where: Workhouse Arts Center, 2nd Floor of the Gallery Building, 9601 Ox Road, Lorton
  • When: Saturday, November 5 from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.
  • Why Go: Enjoy the sounds of the “Windjammers” as they play a variety of musical selections dating from the 18th through the 20th centuries. The concert is free, but tickets are required. Please click on the provided link for more information.
  • Price: FREE

PHILLIPS Zumbathon

  • Where: 7010 Braddock Road, Annandale
  • When: Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
  • Why Go: All proceeds from this event go to support the Food for Thought program, which provides healthy lunches to PHILLIPS students on a daily basis. Remember to bring water and wear comfortable clothing. Get ready to have a fun workout for a good cause!
  • Price: $10 per person

“Pumpkin Madness!” at Cox Farms

  • Where: 15621 Braddock Road, Centreville
  • When: Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday, November 6 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Why Go: The Cox Farms Fall Festival draws to a close with this pumpkin “recycling” event. Bring in your used jack-o-lanterns and smash, squish, drop, stomp, or catapult them until they’re nothing but mush (remember to let the kids have a turn!) You’ll also enjoy the rest of the Fall Festival attractions, such as the giant slides, animals, hay rides, rope swings, music, and more.
  • Price: $15 per person; children under 2 are free

Robinson Choral Department’s “Major Works Concert”

  • Where: 5114 Twinbrook Rd., Fairfax
  • When: Sunday, November 6 at 4 p.m.
  • Why Go: Don’t miss this special annual performance featuring the voices of the Robinson Select Women’s Ensemble and the Robinson Singers, accompanied by the Robinson Chamber Orchestra.
  • Price: $9 for adults; $5 for students and seniors
