Important Dates For Fairfax Station-Area Schools

School officially starts on Sept. 3, but there are important meetings and conversations that will be held between parents, students and administrators between now and then. So, here's all those important dates and times for when you're supposed to do that in the Fairfax Station area.

• Thurs., Aug. 29: Open House, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. (Kindergarten); 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. (Grades 1-6)

• Mon., Aug. 19: Kindergarten Meet and Greet, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
• Fri. Aug. 3: Open House, 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Kindergarten); 2 .m. - 3 p.m. (Grades 1-6)

• Open House: Thurs. Aug. 29, 9 a.m. (Kindergarten); 9:45 a.m. (Grades 1-6)

• Thurs. Aug. 29: Class Lists Posted, 4:00 p.m.
• Fri., Aug. 30: Open House, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. 

• Wed., Aug. 28: Back to School Festival: , 5:00 p.m. - 7:45 pm.

• Wed., Aug. 28: New Student/Parent High School Orientation, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. 
• Thurs. Aug. 29: Locker Distribution Day, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 
• Thurs. Aug. 29: Robinson 101 (for parents), 7:00 p.m.
• Fri. Aug. 30: New Middle School Student Orientation, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 am.
