Board Engages In Productive Discussions During Its Strategic Planning Retreat
On February 6 and 7, the Board of Supervisors met at the Lorton Arts Workhouse Center for a two-day retreat. The time provided an opportunity for Board members to engage each other in a manner that led to thorough discussions on a number of topics, with perhaps the most important conversations revolving around the County's near-term financial picture and its massive transportation needs.

We have a lot going on right now with our parks here in the Braddock District. The following are a few of the upcoming public meetings which might be of interest:
Monticello Park Public Meeting: February 27 at Kings Park Library 7 pm.
Park Authority 101: March 5 at Braddock Hall, 9002 Burke Lake Road, Burke 22015 7:30 pm.
