'All That Glitters' Boutique Set to Move

The Clifton store on Chapel Road will change locations in March

The Clifton boutique will be moving to a new location with a longtime employee taking over the reigns of the business.

“We will be bringing in some new lines but the look and charm of the store will remain the same,” said Alexandra Soper.

The store is not straying far from its current location on 12644 Chapel Road. It will move less then a mile away to 7144 Main Street.

Soper, who grew up in Clifton, is currently the store manager and will officially become the owner in March. The store’s founder, Martha Mikesa, had been running the store for over 30 years and is now planning to retire.

“Martha has been a great mentor to me,” Soper said. “She has always had great customer service. She would be lenient with customers about their returns and if they want something specific we can custom order it.”

Employees will start to move the merchandise to their new location starting in the last few weeks of February. Soper said that she is hoping to expand their inventory for men, including more wallets and belts.

“There are a lot of unique things out there now,” Soper said.

Soper is now 21 and has worked at All That Glitters since she was 15.

“My age may be a hindrance at first but I know people in town have seen me around here for years,” Soper said. “I will keep the store how Martha intended it to be.”
