You may consider breaking your diet, because "Cupcaked", Clifton's newest bakery, is opening on Aug. 31. The bakery at 12644 Chapel Rd. is featuring fresh cupcakes, breakfast pastries and coffee and wine from the Paradise Springs Winery.
Aug. 31 is "Definitely going to be the best day of my life, so far," said bakery owner Kristina Baranowski to Patch. "We are going to have the classic flavors and customers favorites - think strawberry and chocolate salted caramel, as well as our August special peach cobbler!"
Baranowski, 24, is a graduate of Robinson Secondary School, moved to Clifton with her parents and two brothers in 1999. She studied economics at New York University.
Incidentally, Baranowski recently entered "Cupcaked" into a voting contest that features the winner in a 30-second Super Bowl ad.
