5 Places to Swim

Today is National Swim a Lap Day, so it’s no better a time to get in the pool for the first time this season if you haven’t made your way there already.

Here are some places to take a dive:

1. The Fairfax Station Swim & Tennis Club is offering a happy hour today at 5 p.m. The club also offers places for swim team practice.
2. South County RECenter has a 25 x 25 yard pool with springboard and a locker room with a sauna.
3. Our Special Sprayground has interactive water fun for kids (think spraying fountains). The facility is located at the Family Recreation Area at Lee District Park.
4. Atlantis Waterpark at Bull Run Regional Park has slides and a water cannon among other kid-friendly fun.
5. If Pirates are in fashion in your home, then Pirate’s Cove Waterpark in Lorton should do the trick. It’s located at Pohick Bay Regional Park.
