Ask Officials About Tick and Mosquito Prevention

Fairfax health officials tackle questions on preventing, contracting Lyme disease and West Nile Virus.

With mosquito and tick season here, Fairfax County is offering information to local residents about how to prevent West Nile Virus and Lyme disease, in this week’s "Ask Fairfax!" discussion.

Ask Fairfax! is an ongoing feature that makes it easy for residents to interact with county officials in a live chat online. The discussion on West Nile Virus and Lyme disease will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m.

Doctors Peter Troell and Jorge Arias from the Fairfax County Health Department will lead the discussion and field questions in the online chat.
