Starting Saturday, expect to see a change on I-495’s northbound lanes to I-66 west.
The left exit from I-495 north to I-66 west will permanently close to traffic, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Drivers will be required to use the existing right exit ramp, Exit 49A, I-66 west. The right exit ramp will have two lanes to accommodate the additional traffic.
