The official town website for Clifton was hacked on Tuesday.
The website, which usually displays information about community events, was over taken sometime on Tuesday. It was down from about 3 p.m. to about 5:30 p.m.
A message on the site stated that the site was "Hacked By Iranhack Security team." The site also displayed an image of Israeli flag, an American flag, the U.S. Capitol Building, and a target over all three.

Clifton's town website webmaster was not immediately available.
