Lanes on the I-66 west exit to I-495 south will be closed starting Thursday of this week through Saturday.
The lanes will close starting at 9:30 p.m. each night until March 24. The lanes will be closed for paving, according to Virginia Department of Transportation officials.
All traffic will be detoured around the work area. Officials said the detour could add an additional 15 to 20 minute delay during peak hours between 10 p.m. and midnight.

All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following day.
