Fairfax County homeowners have the chance to win a $10,000 home energy makeover through Sept. 21.
The Northern Virginia Home Energy Makeover Contest is sponsored in part by The Dominion Foundation and Dominion Virginia Power. Homeowners in Fairfax County are eligible to apply.
Residents can win improvements worth $10,000, $5,000, or $3,000. The improvements would be based on the home energy assessment and vary from homeowner to homeowner.

Contestants may enter online at www.novaenergycontest.com where they must complete a quick and informative online profile about their home.
