BRAC / FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY EXTENSION PROJECT

Nighttime work - Closures occur between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100) south from Donagal Ln. to Barta Rd. - Single lane closed Tuesday - Thursday nights for overhead sign installation. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.

Daytime work - Closures occur between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100) south from Sydenstricker Rd. to Gambril Rd. - Single lane Monday - Friday for barrier work and overhead sign installation. 
• Franconia Springfield Pkwy. (Route 7900) east from the Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100) to Accotink Creek bridge - Single lane closed Monday - Friday for the addition for median construction and new exit ramp.
• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100) north and south from Barta Rd. to Franconia Springfield Pkwy. (Route 7900) - Single lane closed Monday - Friday for construction in median work.
• Hooes Rd. east and west at Barkers Ct. - Flagger operation Monday - Friday for construction entrance work.

DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT

Nighttime work - Closures occur between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west at Westwood Center Dr. - Left turn lane closed Sunday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west at Gosnell Rd. - Left turn lane closed Sunday - Friday for crane work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west from Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) to Frontage Rd. - Left lane closed Monday - Friday nights for station work.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east at Tyco Rd. - Left turn lane closed Sunday - Friday nights for bridge work.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east from Spring Hill Rd. to Gosnell Rd. - Two left lanes closed Tuesday - Thursday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east at Westpark Dr. - Left turn lane closed Sunday, Monday and Friday nights for crane work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north at Tysons Blvd. - Left turn lane closed Monday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south to I-495 north - Ramp closed Sunday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue south, make a right onto International Dr. north, make a right onto Galleria Dr. east, right onto Tysons Blvd., left onto Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north and follow signs to I-495 north.
• Westwood Center Dr. east at Leesburg Pike (Route 7) - Left turn lane and through lane closed Sunday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Tyco Rd. west at Leesburg Pike (Route 7) - Left turn lane and through lane closed Sunday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Westpark Dr. east and west at Leesburg Pike (Route 7) - Left turn lanes and through lanes closed Sunday - Friday nights for crane work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Galleria Dr. east at Tysons Blvd. - Right turn lane closed Monday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Galleria Dr. west at Tysons Blvd. - Three left turn lanes closed Monday - Friday nights for span work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Gosnell Rd. north at Leesburg Pike (Route 7) - Left turn lane and through lanes closed Sunday - Friday nights for crane work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Tysons Blvd. east at Galleria Dr. - Right turn lane closed Monday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) south from Capital One Dr. to I-495 - Right lane of Sunday - Friday nights will close for bridge work.
• Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) north at Capital One Dr. - Left turn lane closed Sunday night for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north and make a U-turn at Scotts crossing and a right into Capital One Dr.
• Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) north and south from Great Falls St. to Anderson Rd - Single lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for barrier work.
• Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) south from Scotts Crossing to I-495 - Right lane closed Monday - Friday nights for utility work.

Police will be on site for motorist safety. All closures are weather permitting.

Weekday work - Closures occur between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

• Expect daytime delays in the Tysons Corner area along the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267), Leesburg Pike (Route 7) and Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123).

495 EXPRESS LANES PROJECT

Nighttime work - Closures occur between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

• I-495 north at Old Dominion overpass - Three left lanes closed Monday and Tuesday nights for overhead sign installation. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 north or south at Lewinsville Rd. overpass - Three lanes closed Monday - Saturday nights for demolition. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) west to I-495 north - Ramp closed Monday - Saturday nights for bridge demolition. Prior to work zone, traffic will be directed to take Exit 19A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south and follow signs to I-495 north.
• Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east to I-495 north - Ramp from Monday - Saturday nights for bridge demolition. Traffic will be directed to take I-495 south to Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north, stay to the right and follow signs to I-495 north.
• Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east at I-495 - Two left lanes closed Wednesday and Thursday nights for bridge demolition and overhang work.
• I-495 south at Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south - Ramp closed Monday - Wednesday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 47A, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west, make a right on International Dr. north, and follow signs to Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123).
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north and south at I-495 - Two lanes closed Monday - Thursday nights for bridge work.
• I-495 north at Exit 46 Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) - Three left lanes closed Monday and Tuesday nights for overhead sign installation.
• I-495 south from Exit 47, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) to Oak St. overpass - Two left lanes closed Friday night for gantry installation.
• I-495 north to Exits 47 A, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west - Ramp closed Monday and Friday nights for ramp shift. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 south and take Exit 47A, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west.
• I-495 north to Exits 47 B, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east - Ramp closed Monday night for traffic shift. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 south and take Exit 47B, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west to I-495 north - Ramp closed intermittently for up to 30 minutes after midnight Monday night for traffic shift.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west at I-495 - Road closed Monday and Friday nights for ramp shift and bridge deck pour. Traffic will be directed to take I-495 north to Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 south and take Exit 47A, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east and west at I-495 - Left lane closed Saturday from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. for bridge deck pour. 
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west to I-495 south - Ramp closed Monday and Friday nights for ramp shift and bridge deck pour. Traffic will be directed to I-495 north to Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south, stay to the right and follow signs to I-495 south.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east to I-495 north - Ramp closed Monday night for pavement cores. Traffic will be directed to continue east, make a U-turn at George Marshall Dr. onto Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west and follow signs to I-495 north.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east and west at Lisle Ave. - Two left lanes closed Sunday night for overhead sign work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 north and south from Exit 49, I-66 to Lee Hwy. (Route 29) overpass - Three lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for overhang and bridge work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-66 west to I-495 south - Ramp closed Sunday - Saturday nights for road work. Traffic will be directed to continue west to Exit 62, Nutley St. south, stay to the right, follow signs to I-66 east to I-495 south.
• I-66 west from Exit 67, Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) to Exit 64, I-495 - Two lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for barrier work.
• I-66 east HOV (left exit) OR general purpose (right exits) ramp to I-495 south - Ramp closed Sunday - Saturday nights for bridge work and overhead sign installation. Traffic will be directed to use the I-66 east HOV (left exit) or general purpose (right exits) to access I-495.
• Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) west and Fairview Park Dr. to I-495 north - Ramps closed Sunday - Saturday nights for bridge overhang work. Traffic will be directed to continue west to Gallows Rd. (Route 650) south and follow signs to I-495 north.
• I-495 north or south from Exit 50, Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) to Exit 51, Gallows Rd. (Route 650) - Three right lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for road striping. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 south at Exit 52B, Little River Tpk. (Route 236) east - Ramp closed Sunday - Saturday nights for sheet pile removal and sign installation. Traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 54, Braddock Rd. (Route 620) east, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 north and take Exit 52B, Little River Tpk. (Route 236) east.
• Little River Tpk. (Route 236) west to I-495 south - Ramp closed Sunday - Saturday nights for sheet pile removal and sign installation. Traffic will be directed to take I-495 north to Exit 51, Gallows Rd. (Route 650) north, stay to the right and follow signs to I-495 south.
• I-495 south before the Wakefield Park pedestrian bridge - Intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight Tuesday and Wednesday nights for utility work.
• Braddock Rd. (Route 620) east and west at Port Royal Rd. - Three right lanes closed Saturday night for overhead sign installation. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 north/I-95 south (Inner Loop) at Exit 173, Van Dorn St. - Multiple lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for overhead sign installation. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight
• I-495/95 Inner loop at I-95 split – Ramp to I-95 south closed Sunday - Saturday nights after midnight for overhead sign work. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 170, I-395 north to Exit 2, Edsall Rd. west, stay to the right, follow signs to I-395 south and then signs to I-95 south.

• I-495 north to Exits 47A, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west - Ramp closed Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for bridge deck pour. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 south and take Exit 47A, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west.
  
  Expect single lane closures on the Inner and Outer Loops of I-495 from Springfield Interchange to beyond the Dulles Toll Rd. (Route 267) within the project area including all connecting arterials.

Ongoing work
