Fairfax County Library System Holds Contest for Pre-Teens

Teens can submit essays or poetry to the Fairfax County Public Library System

Fairfax County Public Libraries are holding an essay/poetry contest for middle school-aged students.

The theme of the texts would be “United States: One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Prizes awarded at the $25, $50 and $100 levels; multiple prizes will be awarded.

Submit one copy of your work to your nearest Fairfax County Public Library or online at libraryevents@fairfaxcounty.gov by August 26 at 6:00 p.m.
