BRAC / FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY EXTENSION PROJECT

Daytime work - Closures occur Monday - Thursday between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to noon unless otherwise noted.

• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100/286) north from Rolling Rd. to Stream Way - Left lane closed Wednesday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for sign work.
• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100/286) south to Rolling Rd. north - Single lane of ramp closed Tuesday - Friday for shoulder work.
• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100/286) south from Pohick Rd. overpass to Rolling Rd. - Single lane closed Tuesday - Friday for paving, signage and electrical work.
• Franconia Springfield Pkwy. (Route 7900/289) east from Rolling Rd. to Accotink Creek bridge - Single lane closed Tuesday - Friday for signal, electrical and paving work.
• Fairfax County Pkwy. extension (Route 7100/286) north to Franconia Springfield Parkway (Route 7900/289) - Single lane of ramp closed Tuesday - Friday for shoulder work.
• Fairfax County Pkwy. extension (Route 7100/286) north and south from Barta Rd. to new Rolling Rd. overpass - Single lane closed Tuesday - Friday for paving and median work.
• Relocated Rolling Rd. north and south from Richfield Rd. to Barkers Ct. - Single lane closures Tuesday - Friday for shoulder construction. Two-way traffic will be directed by a flagger.

DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT

Nighttime work - Closures occur between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

• I-66 west at the Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) - Right lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for barrier movement.
• Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east to Exit 19A, Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) south - Ramp closed Tuesday - Friday nights for utility work. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 19B, Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) north, make a right onto Great Falls St., right onto Old Chain Bridge Rd., right onto Anderson Rd. and follow signs to Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123).
• Dulles International Airport Access Hwy. east from Centerville Rd. (Route 657) to Leesburg Pike (Route 7) - Road closed Tuesday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to the Dulles Toll Rd. (Route 267) east.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east from Westwood Center Dr. to Spring Hill Rd. - Left lane and two left turn lanes closed Tuesday - Friday nights for station work. Traffic will be directed to continue east make a U-turn at Westpark Dr. onto Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west and make a right onto Spring Hill Rd.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east at Marshalls Dr. - Left lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for station work.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north at Tysons Blvd. - Left turn lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for station work. Prior to work zone, traffic will be directed to make a left onto International Dr., right onto Galleria Dr. and follow signs to Tysons Blvd.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south at Tysons Blvd. – Two right lanes closed Tuesday - Friday nights for station work. Traffic will be directed to continue south, make a right onto International Dr., right onto Galleria Dr. and follow signs to Tysons Blvd.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south from I-495 to Tyson Blvd. - Right lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for storm inlet work.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south at International Dr. - Two right turn lanes closed Wednesday - Friday nights for concrete work. Traffic will be directed  to continue south, take Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west, make a right onto Greensboro Dr. and follow signs to International Dr.

Police will be on site for motorist safety.

Weekday work

• Expect daytime delays between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the Tysons Corner area along the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267), Leesburg Pike (Route 7) and Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123).

495 EXPRESS LANES PROJECT

• I-495 south from Exit 44, Georgetown Pike (Route 193) to Oak St. overpass - Three lanes closed Tuesday – Friday nights for overhead sign and paving work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 south to Exit 45B, Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east - Ramp closed Tuesday - Friday for overhang removal. Traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north and follow signs to Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east.
• Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) west at I-495 - Road closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for bridge painting. Traffic will be directed to take I-495 north to Exit 44, Georgetown Pike (Route 193) west, stay to the left, follow signs to I-495 south and take Exit 45A, Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) west.

• I-495 north to Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday  nights for paving. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 south, stay to the right, and enter onto Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north.
• I-495 south to Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south - Ramp closed Tuesday - Friday  nights for overhead sign work.  Traffic will be directed to take Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south, make a U-turn at International Dr. onto Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north at Westpark Dr. overpass - Two right lanes closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for signal work.
• Westpark Dr. overpass at Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) - Road closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for concrete work. Traffic will be directed to International Dr.
• I-495 south to Exit 47B, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for paving. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 47B, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west and make a U-turn at International Dr. onto Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east.
• I-495 north to Exit 47A and B, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west and east - Ramps closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for paving. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south, make a left onto International Dr. south and follow signs to Leesburg Pike (Route 7).
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west and east to I-495 north - Ramps closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for paving. Traffic will be directed to take International Dr. north, make a right onto Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north and follow signs to I-495 north.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west and east to I-495 south - Ramps closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for sign work and paving. Traffic will be directed to make a right onto International Dr. north, make a right onto Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north and follow signs to I-495 south.
• I-495 north from Oak St. overpass to Exit 44, Georgetown Pike (Route 193) - Three lanes closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for paving, painting, and utility work.  Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 south from Oak St. overpass to Lee Hwy. (Route 29) overpass - Three lanes closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for paving and utility work.  Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 south to Exit 49, I-66 west - Full or partial ramp closure Tuesday - Saturday nights for demolition. Detour for full ramp closure - Traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 52B, Little River Tpk. (Route 236) east, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 north and take Exit 49, I-66 west.
• I-66 west to I-495 south - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for overhead sign installation and road work. Traffic will be directed to continue west to Exit 62, Nutley St. south, stay to the right, follow signs to I-66 east to I-495 south.
• I-66 west from Exit 66, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) to Gallows Rd. overpass - Two lanes closed Tuesday - Saturday  nights for utility and sign work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-66 east from Exit 62, Nutley St. to Exit 67, Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) - Three lanes closed Sunday - Thursday nights for overhead sign installation. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-66 east general purpose ramp (right exit) or HOV (left exit) to I-495 north or south - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for bridge demolition and sign work. Traffic will be directed to use the I-66 east HOV ramp (left exit) or general purpose ramp (right exit) to access I-495 north or south. 
• Nutley St. north and south to I-66 east - Ramps closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for overhead sign installation. Traffic will be directed to take I-66 west to Exit 57A, Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy. (Route 50) east, stay to the right and follow signs to I-66 east.
• Lee Hwy. (Route 29) north from Hartland Rd. to Fairview Park Dr. - Single lane closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for traffic shift. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• Shreve Rd. south at Lee Hwy. (Route 29) - Right lane closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for traffic shift.
• I-495 north from Exit 50, Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) to Oak St. overpass - Three lanes closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for paving, utility work and steel beam erection. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 north to Exit 50B, Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) east - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for barrier movement. Prior to work zone, traffic will be directed to Exit 51, Gallows Rd. (Route 650) north and follow signs to Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) east.
• Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) west and Fairview Park Dr. to I-495 north - Ramps closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for overhead sign and bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue west to Gallows Rd. (Route 650) south and follow signs to I-495 north.
• I-495 south from Exit 51, Gallows Rd. (Route 650) to Heming Ave. underpass - Three lanes closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for bridge work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 north to Exit 51, Gallows Rd. (Route 650) - Ramp closed Sunday - Thursday nights for barrier movement. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Exit 50A, Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) west and follow signs to Gallows Rd. (Route 650).
• Gallows Rd. (Route 650) north and south to I-495 north - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for barrier movement. Traffic will be directed to Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) east and follow signs to I-495 north. 
• Little River Tpk. (Route 236) west to I-495 south - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for bridge painting. Traffic will be directed to take I-495 north to Exit 51, Gallows Rd. (Route 650) north, stay to the right and follow signs to I-495 south.
• I-495 north at Exit 54A and B, Braddock Rd. (Route 620) west and east - Ramps closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for milling and paving. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Exit 52A, Little River Tpk. (Route 236) west, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 south and take Exit 54A, Braddock Rd. (Route 620) west.
• Braddock Rd. (Route 620) east to I-495 north - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for milling and paving. Traffic will be directed to continue east and make a left onto Backlick Rd. north, left onto Little River Tpk. (Route 236) west and follow signs to I-495 north.
• Braddock Rd. (Route 620) west to I-495 north - Ramp closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for milling and paving. Prior to work zone, traffic will be directed to make a right onto Backlick Rd. north, a left onto Little River Tpk. (Route 236) west and follow signs to I-495 north.
• Braddock Rd. (Route 620) east and west from Port Royal Rd. to I-495 - Multiple lanes closed Wednesday and Thursday nights for signal work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 north from Robinson Terminal to Exit 51, Gallows Rd. (Route 650) - Three lanes closed Tuesday - Saturday nights for milling and paving. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-395 north at I-495 - Road closed Friday night for restriping. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 170, I-495 north (Inner Loop) toward Tysons Corner to Exit 52A, Little River Tpk. (Route 236) west, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 south and take Exit 57B, I-394 north.

• Expect single lane closures on the Inner and Outer Loops of I-495 from Springfield Interchange to beyond the Dulles Toll Rd. (Route 267) within the project area including all connecting arterials.

• I-95 north from Exit 152, Dumfries Rd. to Exit 169, Franconia/Old Keene Mill Rd. (Route 644) - Single lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for water level readings.
