1. FamilyFest 2011

  • Where/When: 6726 Springfield Mall, Springfield/Thursday, June 2-Sunday, June 5
  • Why Go: Kickoff Summer at FamilyFest. Children and adults of all ages will enjoy carnival rides and food.

2. Live Music Happy Hour

  • Where/When: Paradise Springs Winery, 13219 Yates Ford Rd, Clifton/Friday, June 3rd from 5-9 p.m.
  • Why Go: Try their sparkling Viognier, Après or sip on sangria while listening to Random Neutral Firings Line as they play some tunes. All glasses of wine are $1 off until 9 p.m.

3. Lincolnia Park Beautification Day

  • Where/When: 6501 Montrose Street, Saturday, June 4th from 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
  • Why Go: Help clean up your community streets and streams. Volunteers will provide you with gloves, trash bags and safety vests.

4. WSHS Spartanjam Music Festival

  • Why Go:  Enjoy an all day music festival that will include alumni bands. There will be food several vendors including Austin Grill, Burger Joint and Red Hot and Blue.

5. PetFest and Paws on Parade

  • Where/When: 6726 Springfield Mall, Springfield/Saturday, June 4th 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Why Go: Bring your four-legged friends with you to this pet friendly event. There will be entertainment, activities, and pet-related vendors and exhibits. Show off your leashed pet by participating in Paws on Parade and your pet will receive a prize.
