Learn How to Help in a Mental Health Emergency

The course will be hosted by the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board on Saturday.

Learn how to respond in a mental health emergency in a 3-hour introductory course sponsored by the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board.

The course helps train attendees on how to respond to mental health and substance abuse emergencies for youths and adults. They will cover how to recognize signs of mental or substance abuse, how to respond and who to call for help.

The training will be held on March 24 from 9 a.m. until noon at the , 3801 Buckman Rd. in Alexandria.
