Planned Roadwork on Braddock Road to Snarl Traffic

The roadwork goes on until the end of August.

Expect roadwork at Braddock Road and Roanoke River Road at George Mason University for the next month.

The construction started this week and will last through August 21, according to George Mason University.

Workers will be widening Roanoke River Road on campus and will synchronize the traffic signal at Roanoke River Road and Braddock Road among other improvements. The roadwork is meant to help improve traffic flow on Braddock.

No matter where that red Altima goes, it get stuck in traffic. It's owner must feel like a Jonah. Can Patch just put a transponder on that car and tell us where it is at all times so we can avoid that part of the county?
