Snow, Sleet, Rain in Forecast for Fairfax County

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather advisory starting Friday evening.

A winter weather advisory will start at 11 p.m. Friday evening with freezing rain, sleet, and the possibility of snow in the forecast.

The National Weather Service issued the advisory Friday afternoon. It will last until 1 p.m. on Saturday. Expect to see a coating of one inch of snow and sleet, the weather service said.

The roads will be hazardous in the evening. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
