Toyotas, Nissan, Honda, Mazda Automakers Announce Recalls

Some of the vehicles may have defective airbag sensors or inflators.

Defective airbag sensors or inflators have triggered a recall of 3.4 million vehicles worldwide, according to Reuters.

Autos made by Toyota, Nissan, Hondas, and Mazdas are impacted.

The faulty airbag device manufactured by Takata may “produce excessive internal pressure causing the inflators to rupture upon deployment of the air bag,” according to the recall notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
