Weather Service Issues Thunderstorm Warning
Thunderstorm warning in effect until 8 p.m. Friday
Expect a dark and stormy commute and evening as all of Fairfax County is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. Friday.
The National Weather Service issued the advisory this afternoon. With the showers also comes a possibility of hail and strong winds, the service advises.
Temperatures will reach a high of 86 degrees and a low of 68 degrees.
