Citizen Hearing for Climate Standards

On October 29th, 2012, Superstorm Sandy hit the east coast, resulting in lost lives and billions of dollars in property damage. Join us on the first anniversary of the storm to tell our leaders that climate change is here and we need to act now.

Come demonstrate public support for climate action. The Obama Administration recently announced the nation’s first limit on global warming emissions from power plants, the single-largest source of carbon pollution. A loud and positive public response during this time will impact the strength of our country’s climate standards.

A panel of local leaders and activists will give context to the proposed protections then the floor is open for two-minute citizen comments. During this brief public comment period, we are recording this public "testimony" to send to the EPA. We need your voice - come and tell Washington what you think!
