100+ Dancers to Perform for Thousands at GMU vs. UVA Men’s Basketball Game

By special invitation, 100+ dancers from the Creative Dance Center Award Winning Competition Team will perform at halftime for players and for potentially 10,000 fans at the Patriot Center for the George Mason University vs. University of Virginia Men's Basketball Game, 7:00PM, Friday, November 9th, 2012.  This event will be televised live to the world via Patriot Vision online live event portal, so if you can’t attend, tune in and support CDC*CT!

As choreographed by Chantilly’s talented Staci Frye and Jamie Frye, the Competition Team’s performance will  feature 100+ area dancers, aged 5 to 18 years, from Creative Dance Center’s Competition Team representing greater Northern Virginia including the towns of Fairfax, Dulles, Ashburn, Leesburg, Brambleton, Chantilly, South Riding, Sterling, and Centerville among others.

Housed in Chantilly’s own Creative Dance Center Studios, the CDC*CT competes approximately 220 dances annually both on national and regional levels in jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, contemporary, musical theater and open categories.  Their efforts in the 2011-2012 season earned them the esteemed title of the 5th in the Nation for Star Systems “The Reveal” and 10 Ten in the Southeast Region Studio for the Federation of Dance Dance Competitions.
