Fairfax Station Railroad Museum Now a Wildlife Habitat

How the Clifton Community Woman's Club and the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum worked together to create the habitat.

The Fairfax Station Railroad Museum is now a certified wildlife habitat thanks to a group effort.

Members of the Clifton Community Woman’s Club and the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum collaborated to get certified by the National Wildlife Federation

Certified habitats encourage residents to create a welcoming habitat for local wildlife, according to the NWF. Habitat creators add a food source, a water source, and cover such as evergreens and shrubs for wildlife to their backyards or other spaces.
