Drop the Dreidel: Fairfax Station's B-Boyz Release Hannukah Rap

The B-Boyz release the Hannukkah song.

Fairfax Station teens are lighting up Hannukah again this year with an “8 Lights” themed rap.

The three brothers, Ben, 15, Jake, 13, and Max Borenstein, 11, call themselves the “B-Boyz” and have produced a Hannukah-themed rap for about the last 6 years. The parody video has over 75,000 views on YouTube so far.

“Clap for a Jewish boy with rapid lips. Light the candles and be ready take some family pics,” the boys rap.

 “They all have this natural love of acting and singing and they all have a great sense of humor,” Gal Borenstein said. “They realized they don’t have any good Hanukkah songs that are modern. They said what about Adam Sandler's song? And they said, well that’s old. I realized that Adam Sandler is 20 years behind their generation.”
