Have your summer flowers had it? You've got one more shot to get those annuals cheap. Pioneer Garden Center is set up in front of the Salvation Army Church at 4915 Ox Rd. in Fairfax, and everything is half off.
"I've got one more load of summer stuff coming on Thursday," said Pioneer's owner Andy Woods.
Pioneer Garden Center has been around for 25 years - mostly at their location at the University Mall Shopping Center. The shop had to close for renovations to the center.
"The landlord is redeveloping the whole shopping center," said Wood. "But we've talked with them and we have a guaranteed spot when they reopen in a couple of years."
Pioneer Garden Center is selling flowers and plants at 4915 Ox Rd. until the end of October. They are open Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and on Sun. 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
