Residents Remember Beloved Clifton Vet

Dr. Raymond Van Lienden, of the Animal Clinic of Clifton, passed away on May 4

Family, friends, and patrons are remembering beloved Clifton veterinarian Raymond Van Lienden.

Dr. Van Lienden opened his practice just off of Main Street in 1995, according to the Animal Clinic of Clifton’s website. The site also states that he is a graduate of George Mason University and Virginia Tech.

Friends left a wreath draping over the signage on the Animal Clinic’s front yard.

One card from Blackacre Farms in Clifton read: “We will miss you dearly Doc. You were a great friend.”

An obituary published in the Washington Post stated that Dr. Van Lienden passed away on May 4 after a brief illness. Services will be held for him in June.
