Crime Report: 19 Year Old Charged with Driving While Intoxicated

The following information was provided by the Fairfax County Police Department. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.  

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

A 19-year-old Fairfax man was charged with driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest this weekend.

Fairfax County Police said that on Saturday, officers pulled over Corbin Tyler Rasmussen for suspected drunken driving on the intersection of the Fairfax County Parkway and Old Keene Mille Road in Burke.

Rasmussen was arrested and resisted officers, according to police.

Larcenies:

5000 block of Port Royal Road in North Springfield: a purse was reported stolen

4000 block of Gilbertson Road in Fairfax: a wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle

5000 block of Cockney Court in Annandale: jewelry was reported stolen from a residence

4900 block of Americana Drive in Annandale: suitcases were reported stolen from a residence

5600 block of Castlebury Court in Burke: a cell phone was reported stolen from aresidence

7900 block of Heritage Drive in Annandale: a cell phone was reported stolen from apark

7700 block of Suract Court in Annandale: rings and money were reported stolen from a residence

8400 block of Thames Street in Springfield: a tool box was reported stolen from a vehicle

8300 block of Toll House Road in Annandale: coins and jewelry were reported stolen from a residence

Stolen vehicles:

4000 block of Casimir Street in Annandale: a 1987 Buick was reported stolen

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

Assault on a police officer

A 24-year-old man was charged with two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.

Evan Taylor Christianson, of Quantico, was charged in the October 18 incident, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.  Police said that they were called to the 15600 block of Braddock Road in Centreville for a report of an intoxicated person. Authorities said that Christianson resisted arrest.

Stolen property

On Monday on the 14000 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway in Chantilly, property was reported stolen from a residence, police report.

Unlawful entry

On October 18, a resident on the 5000 block of Lierman Circle in Centreville reported that someone entered their home. Nothing was reported stolen, police report. 

Stolen Vehicle

A 2010 Chevrolet Malibu was reported stolen from the 4100 block of Auto Park Circle in Chantilly, according to police.
