Crime Report: Fairfax Station Resident Finds Unknown Person in their Garage

The latest incident reports from the West Springfield and Sully District Stations, which include parts of Fairfax Station and Clifton.

West Springfield District Station

Unlawful Entry

A resident reported finding an unknown person in his garage at 8:15 p.m. Saturday on the 9600 block of Pemberly Lane in Fairfax Station. The person fled and nothing was stolen, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Larcenies:

  • 10000 block of Beacon Pond: bicycle reported stolen from a school
  • 8700 block of California Poppy Lane: golf clubs reported stolen from a residence
  • 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road: wallet reported stolen from a business
  • 8300 block of Gingerspice Place: checks reported stolen from a business

Assault

An apparently intoxicated, injured man tried to assault an officer, according to police. An officer found the intoxicated man at 4:15 a.m. on May 11 on the intersection of Centreville Road and Machen Road in Centreville, police report.

Police said that rescue personnel arrived and tried to move the man, when the man assaulted the rescue officer. Oscar Romer, 18, of Chantilly, was charged with being drunk in public and assault. 

Burglary

Several items including a wallet were reported stolen from a home, according to police. The incident took place at 4:55 p.m. on May 10 on the 5600 block of Thorndyke Court.

Larcenies:

  • 5600 block of Pickwick Road in Centreville: cases of beer reported stolen from business
  • 14500 block of Ravenscar Court in Centreville: keys reported stolen from residence
  • 5800 block of Waterdale Court in Centreville: package reported stolen from residence
