Robbery

A victim was robbed at gunpoint after they posted an online ad, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Authorities said that the victim had posted the online ad to sell property. The victim agreed to meet the buyer at about 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday on the 14000 block of Lady Madonna Court in Centreville.

Police said that the buyer displayed a gun, assaulted the victim, and took property, according to police. The robber fled in a dark color four-door Honda Accord. The suspect was described being in his 20s and about 5-feet-11 inches tall.

Burglary

Someone entered a home and took property Monday on the 11000 block of Fairfax Station Road in Fairfax Station.

Larcenies reported on Monday:

4300 block of Chantilly Shopping Center in Chantilly: a cell phone was reported stolen from a business

5900 block of Fort Drive in Centreville: a duffle bag was reported stolen from a vehicle

14700 block of Lee Highway in Chantilly: license plates were reported stolen from a vehicle
