Crime Report: Resident Reports Attempted Burglary in Clifton

The following incidents were reported in the Sully District Station, which includes portions of Clifton and Centreville.

Burglary

On Sunday, a resident reported that someone tried to steal their ATV and lawn mower, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The incident was reported at 6 p.m. on the 13300 block of Balmoral Greens Avenue in Clifton.

The resident told police that someone had tried to get to the items by opening a garage door. No items were taken.
