Crime Report: Weekend Incidents

The following incidents were reported to the Fairfax County Police Department's Sully District and West Springfield District Stations, which include parts of Fairfax Station and Clifton.

Sully District Station

A 27-year-old Centreville man was charged with being drunk in public, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Police were initially called at 8:10 p.m. on Saturday on the 6200 block of Multiplex Drive for a report of a person brandishing a firearm.

Police did no find a weapon when the got there. However, they arrested 27-year-old Amir Shukry, of Centreville, and charged him with being drunk in public.

Assault

A 20-year-old man was sitting at a Centreville restaurant when an unknown man assaulted him, according to police.

The incident was reported at 12:40 a.m. Sunday on the 14100 block of Saint Germain Drive. The attacker reportedly fled, and the victim did not report serious injuries.

Larcenies:

  • 4400 block of Chantilly Shopping Center: cell phone reported stole from business
  • 7100 block of Main Street: license plate reported stolen from vehicle
  • 7100 block of Main Street: wallet reported stolen from business
  • 14100 block of Mariah Court: metal panels reported stolen from vehicle
  • 5800 block of Post Corners Trail: keys reported stolen from residence
  • 14400 block of Saguaro Place: package reported stolen from residence
  • 14100 block of Saint Germain Drive: liquor reported stolen from business

West Springfield District Station

Assault

An 11-year-old girl said that an unknown man grabbed her when she was throwing a ball, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The incident was reported at 3:10 p.m. Saturday on the 8100 block of Braddock Road in Annandale. Police said that the girl was not injured. Police said that none of the adults could provide more information on the incident.

Burglary

A resident reported that someone entered their home and stole a laptop computer, police said. The incident was reported at 12:40 a.m. on Sunday from the 7400 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale. 

Larcenies:

  • 3300 block of Gallows Road: ring reported stolen from hospital
  • 7900 block John Adams Court: handgun reported stolen from residence
  • Lake Braddock Drive/Castlebury Court: tools reported stolen from vehicle
  • 5300 block of Queensberry Avenue: tools reported stolen from vehicle
