Crime Report: Woman Bit by Dog

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department for events that took place up to June 1. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.



A 35-year-old woman was jogging home when a German Shepherd bit her, police said.

According to the Fairfax County Police Department's Animal Control unit, the woman was jogging home at about noon on July 27 on the 4500 block of Rachael Manor Drive when two dogs approached her. One of the dogs, a 6-year-old German Shepherd, bit her, the woman told police.
