Fairfax Station residents took a bite out of crime Tuesday evening at National Night Out events around the county.
The annual event brings out police officers to speak with the community and give tips on crime prevention.
The hosted a pool party with free pizza for guests, and police officers from the Sully District stopped by to mingle with residents.
The in Burke also hosted a larger party with child safety demonstrations and the chance for kids to look inside police cars. Residents also were greeted with free food samples from area businesses.
