Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Deer

A 50-year-old motorcyclist died after his motorcycle collided with a deer, police said Tuesday.

Timothy Ray Schleeter, of Arlington, died after his 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with the deer on Aug. 24. Schleeter was riding shortly before 8 p.m. on Compton Road near the intersection of Balmoral Forest Road in the westbound lanes when the deer struck the motorcycle, police said.

Schleeter was pronounced dead on Thursday, Aug. 25.
