Robbery: A 25-year-old man was robbed in a Burke neighborhood on Jan. 20, police said.
The man parked his car on Starboard Drive around 5 a.m. and began walking when two other men approached him. One of robbers brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim handed over the cash and the robbers fled in a silver 4-door sedan, police said.
One suspect had a dark-colored complexion, long dreadlocks, and is about 6 feet tall. The second man was described as having a light skin complexion and is 5 feet 9, police said.
Stabbing: A 30-year-old man was charged with two counts of malicious wounding after police said that the man stabbed two family members.
Tory Anthony White, 30, of La Cross Court in Fairfax, was arrested on Jan. 25. Police were called to a home on the 5500 block of La Cross Court after a reported stabbing. Two family members in the home were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
