Robbery, a Motorcycle Crash and Traveling to DC for Underage Sex

2. A Fairfax Station man was sentenced to 50 months for traveling to the District to have sex with a child on July 29, 2013. 

3. Two area drivers were charged with driving while intoxicated at a DWI checkpoint at the Franconia-Springfield Parkway and Spring Valley Dr. on July 27, 2013. Seven-hundred-twenty-nine vehicles passed through. Additionally, four summonses were issued and one criminal arrest was made.

4. A 44-year-old Fairfax Station woman was robbed while walking in the 8400 block of Bayberry Ridge Rd. on the evening of July 28, 2013. The woman was approached at around 10:15 p.m., grabbed the woman's cell phone and the woman screamed. No one was injured.
